Former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif, who wants to spend the last Ashra (10 days) of the holy month of Ramadan in Saudi Arabia, has been advised by his physicians in London not to travel abroad due to health reasons, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

The doctors were of the view that his health needed further recuperation before undertaking any long journey.

Yesterday, 24News TV channel had reported that the government of Pakistan had issued a passport to the former premier, Nawaz Sharif.

According to the report, the passport of Nawaz Sharif had been issued in the Ordinary Category on an urgent basis with the validity of ten years.

It is pertinent to mention here that the Shehbaz Sharif-led coalition government had recently issued a directive for the renewal of Nawaz Sharif's passport.
