NEPRA to hear pleas for raise in power tariffs tomorrow

Regardless of the fact that people are already suffering on account of several hours of loadshedding and that, too, in sizzling heat, the government is in no mood to give them any relief as hike in electricity prices seems to be imminent, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) is set to hear the applications filed separately by Karachi-Electric (KE) and the Central Power Purchasing Agency (CPPA) for increase in power tariffs by Rs5.27 and Rs3.15 per unit, respectively tomorrow (Wednesday, April 27, 2022).
