President Arif Alvi met the mother of Major Shahid Bashir who embraced martyrdom on April 22 in Panjgur.

The president paid homage to the hero and said the sons of soil rendered sacrifices for the sake of the motherland’s security.

“We are proud of them,” he said and reiterated Pakistan’s peace resolve.  

The mother of Maj Shaid said she wanted to send another son for martyrdom for the cause

President Arif Ali also expressed condolences to the families of the martyrs of the April 22 cross-border attack in North Waziristan.

He expressed his condolences over the telephone to the relatives of martyrs.
