Iran’s Foreign Minister Araghchi calls Pakistan visit highly productive

Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has described his recent visit to Pakistan as highly productive, expressing appreciation for Islamabad’s efforts to promote peace in the region, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.

According to the report, in a post on social media platform X, the Iranian foreign minister said Pakistan’s “good offices and brotherly efforts” to restore stability in the region were highly valued by Tehran.

He said Iran had shared its position on a workable framework aimed at achieving a permanent end to the ongoing conflict. According to him, diplomatic engagement remains essential for long-term peace.

Araghchi also raised questions about Washington’s approach, stating that it remains to be seen whether the United States is genuinely committed to diplomacy.

In his message, he wrote: “Very fruitful visit to Pakistan, whose good offices and brotherly efforts to bring back peace to our region we very much value. 

Shared Iran's position concerning workable framework to permanently end the war on Iran. Have yet to see if the U.S. is truly serious about diplomacy.”
