One dead, another injured as brothers on trailer roof strike overpass in Nawabshah

One person was killed and another critically injured after two brothers sitting on the roof of a moving trailer struck an overhead interchange structure near the National Highway in the Sakrand area of Nawabshah, 24NewsHD TV reported on Sunday.

According to police officials, the trailer was travelling from Karachi to Sahiwal when the accident occurred.

Both victims were sitting on top of the vehicle for ventilation due to intense heat when they hit the low clearance of the interchange bridge.

The deceased was identified as 25-year-old Rukhsar Jutt, while the injured person was named as Sohail Jutt.

A third brother, driver Ihtisham Jutt, told authorities that both were sitting on the trailer roof due to extreme heat and suffocation inside the vehicle.
