The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has summoned Tahir Mughal, a Nawaz League worker and member of PML-N Vice-President Maryam Nawaz’s social media team, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday. 

The FIA directed Tahir Mughal, who is also media coordinator of PML-N leaer Azma Bukhari, to appear at FIA Immigration Tower Sector G8/1, Islamabad, on August 27.

The TV channel reported that Tahir Mughal has always been on the front line whenever a member of the Sharif family whether it is Nawaz Sharif, Shehbaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz or Hamza Shehbaz appears before a court.

Now, the FIA summoned Tahir Mughal at 11am at FIA Immigration Office in Islamabad for ‘objectionable tweets’.

PML-N leader Azma Bokhari said in a tweet that, “Can I know from the FIA that why such a vague notice has been sent? We don't care about these tactics at all and we will fight this fascist government at every forum with our brother and lion {Tahir Mughal}.”
