Female job aspirant ‘raped’ by agent in Lahore

A woman has lodged an FIR in Lahore’s Ghalib Market Police Station claiming she was ditched and raped by a so-called job agent who pretended himself as an employer and promised a job to her, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
In the FIR the victim Aqsa claimed that she met man named Ahmed for a job but contrary to any job allocation, he took her to a hotel and raped her at gunpoint and later hurling threats at her kicked her out of the hotel.
Despite IGP Punjab Inam Ghani took notice of the incident, the accused is still at large.
Moreover, sources claimed the victim has now been hesitating from appearing before the police investigation team who wanted her to go medical test to proceed further with the case.
Police termed the case ‘suspicious’ and said the investigation has been underway from different angles.
