Mohsin Naqvi delivers big: 233% increase in civil armed forces' martyrs package

In another landmark achievement credited to Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, his efforts have resulted in a 233 percent increase in the compensation package for martyrs of the civil armed forces, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

According to details, the federal cabinet has approved the Interior Ministry’s decision to raise the compensation amounts significantly.

Under the revised package, the minimum compensation for martyrs has been raised from Rs3 million to Rs10 million, while the maximum compensation has been increased from Rs10 million to Rs20 million.

Previously, the maximum payout under the security-related package stood at Rs 10 million.

The civil armed forces covered under this package include Punjab Rangers, Sindh Rangers, Frontier Corps North and South Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Frontier Corps North and South Balochistan, Pakistan Coast Guards, Gilgit-Baltistan Scouts, and the Federal Constabulary.
