Ravi, Chenab and Sutlej in high flood as India releases more water
Heavy rains in northern states of India have caused heavy flooding in Pakistan, 24NewsHD TV reported on Monday.
Reports suggest that Indian dams in occupied Kashmir are already overflowing.
Floodwater has started moving towards Pakistan, causing high-level food in rivers Ravi, Sutlej and Chenab.
River Ravi will see a flow of 80,000 to 12,000 cusecs at Jasr.
Flow expected at Marala in Chenab River is between 1.5 and 2 lakh cusecs.
Flow expected at Ganda Singhwala in Sutlej River is between 220,000 cusecs.
Also, India has issued a warning of water release from Madhupar Dam.
Currently, there is a high flood situation in the Ravi, Chenab and Sutlej rivers.
