Court allows Imran Khan's family to attend jail hearing; written orders issued

In the Toshakhana-II case against former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi, the court has issued a written order directing the Adiala Jail superintendent to allow both lawyers and family members to attend the jail hearings.

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the written order, issued by Special Judge Central Shahrukh Arjumand, stated that all lawyers who have submitted their power of attorney must be permitted to attend the proceedings.

Additionally, the written order stated that Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi's family members present outside the jail premises should also be allowed to participate in the hearing.

The development came after Barrister Salman Safdar filed an application challenging restrictions on lawyers and family members during the last jail hearing.

The court disposed of the plea after issuing these directions to the jail administration.
