Four killed, two injured in firing over road dispute in Bannu

Four people, including a woman, were killed and two others were injured after a firing incident linked to a road dispute in Bannu, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Wednesday.

The incident took place in the area under the jurisdiction of Bakkakhel Police Station, where two groups reportedly exchanged fire over a dispute concerning a road.

Police said one person was killed and two others were injured from the one party, while three people, including a woman, were killed from the second party.

The bodies of those killed and the injured were taken to the District Headquarters Hospital for medical treatment and legal procedures.

Police registered cases on the complaints of both sides and launched an investigation into the incident.
