Pakistan Muslim League-Functional has distanced itself from the recent visit of its General Secretary Muhammad Ali Durrani to Shehbaz Sharif in jail, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Saturday.

Durrani’s visit to PML-N president has created quite a stir after Durrani said he had persuaded Shehbaz for track-2 dialogues and there were also rumours of uniting all the Pakistan Muslim League factions once again.

However, PML-F said Durrani visited Shebaz for condolence over the death of her mother at his personal capacity and has nothing to do with the party or its chief Pir Pagara.

PML-F also denied any kind of message sent to Shehbaz on behalf of PML-F and said Pir Pagara has no interest to play a reconciliatory role in this regard.

The sources in Kingri House said Durrani has never been tasked for conveying any kind of message to anyone.

PML-N has already denied any kind of messaging with any party or rumours regarding Shehbaz Sharif agreeing to dialogues with the government.

Now PML-F has also denied sending any kind of message to PML-N president through Durrani.

Grand Democratic Alliance vice-chairman Irfanullah Marwat has also rejected all the rumours regarding any role being played by Pir Pagara for reconciliation with the PML-N.
