Wajiha Murder Case: Court grants more physical remand of ex-husband

In the murder case of US-Pakistani Wajiha Swati, Rawalpindi court Sunday granted more three days physical remand of her ex-husband Rizwan Habib.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, the accused has confessed that he has killed ex-wife Wajiha with a sharp tool and was buried in Hangu.

During the investigation, the accused said he shifted the dead body to a house of a relative in Hangu city in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the dicky of a car.

He revealed that the dead body of Wajiha was buried in a room of the same house. He claimed that his father had said him that it would cost only Rs 50,000 to kill his ex-wife Wajiha.

He told the police that he had planned to go to Poland for asylum and citizenship after the murder for which he had also obtained a passport.

The police have also arrested the accused's father Hurriyat Ullah and employee Sultan as co-accused and facilitators in the murder of a US-Pakistani citizen.

The police also produced the main accused Rizwan, his father Hurriyat and servant Sultan before the Rawalpindi duty magistrate and demanded three days remand that was granted.

The police have also recovered the buried dead body and shifted it to the morgue.
