PTI to present whitepaper against coalition government: Fawad Ch

PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry has said a white paper will be released against the coalition exposing its failure to cope with economic challenges and guard human rights, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Monday.

Talking to the media, the former federal minister flayed the coalition government for what he called its failure to deliver.

“A 20 kg bag of flour is available at Rs2500 in Karachi. If the IMF does not extend its program, the county will default.  Accepting the conditions of the IMF will increase the value of the dollar,” he said.

Flanked by Farukh Habib, Fawad Ch said the vote of confidence will be taken before January 11, he said adding that Imran Khan will not be ordered by Parvez Elahi. The PML-N members also want seat adjustment with the PTI, he claimed.

Talking to a private TV, Fawad has claimed that Gen (r) Qamar Javed Bajwa said ‘you should thank me, you became popular’. He said the difference has been made after Gen Asim became COAS. “Now unknown calls are not coming and Imran Khan is not being blocked on the media. A few lawmakers complained of receiving calls. Maybe, these lawmakers are passing such remarks to gain popularity.”

The PTI leader said that there was no breakthrough in the meeting between President Arif Alvi and Finance Minister Ishaq Dar. “The coalition government’s strategy is to get Imran Khan disqualified and implicate him in criminal cases to postpone polls for a year. They are doing so to make their political position stronger. But they won't succeed. They can’t revive the economy."
