Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s warm Christmas hints at upcoming on-screen romance
Bollywood star icons Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor celebrated Christmas surrounded by family, sharing a warm, joy-filled holiday at home.
The actor shared a series of intimate pictures from the festive gathering on her Instagram account, giving fans a glimpse into the cozy celebrations.
Joining the couple were Alia’s mother Soni Razdan, her sister Shaheen Bhatt, and Ranbir’s mother Neetu Kapoor, along with Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and her daughter Samara Sahni.
The gathering radiated familial warmth, with everyone enjoying the festive cheer together.
Alia looked radiant in a red dress, while Ranbir complemented her in a sleek black ensemble.
A giant Christmas tree adorned with bells and lights featured prominently in one picture, with one bell engraved with the name “Raha.”
Though Alia did not show Raha’s face, the toddler was seen playing alongside Shaheen, with the sisters twinning in red, creating an adorable holiday moment.
Alia captioned her Instagram post, "wrapped in love, Christmas 2025."
Meanwhile, Riddhima shared a snapshot featuring Ranbir, Alia, Neetu, and Samara, writing, "Christmas isn’t about the gifts under the tree, but the people gathered around it. So grateful for moments like these and a family that makes every season brighter! Thank you @sonirazdan aunty for the love, effort, and care you put into Christmas dinner."
On the professional front, Ranbir was last seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal, released in December 2023.
He is set to star in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming film Love and War alongside Alia and Vicky Kaushal.
Additionally, he is working on Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, with Part One slated for Diwali 2026 and Part Two for Diwali 2027.
Alia was last seen in Vasan Bala’s Jigra, released last year. She will also appear in Love and War, marking her second film with Ranbir after Brahmastra: Part 1 – Shiva.
She is additionally starring in Shiv Rawali’s spy film Alpha, which will be part of the YRF Spy Universe.
The couple’s festive family gathering hints at the closeness and camaraderie both on and off screen, while fans are already speculating about the chemistry they will bring to their upcoming projects.
