Elder follows younger: Urwa celebrates father’s birthday after Mawra Hocane
Mawra Hocane and Urwa Hocane have shared heartfelt birthday wishes for their father on social media.
Taking to Instagram, Mawra posted a carousel of photos with her father, captioning it: “Happy happy happy birthday, daddy. Love you.”
She praised her father for his calm and kind nature, calling him a great listener and acknowledging his playful side.
“Thank you for always being calm & kind, always being a great listener, and for all the funny antics that keep us going,” she wrote.
Concluding her post on an emotional note, she added: “I hope and pray that I can always make you proud… to health & happiness… always & always.”
Earlier, Mawra had shared a touching birthday message for her close friend, Maleeha Sattar, affectionately nicknamed ‘Mally.’
Sharing a photo of the two embracing, Mawra wrote: “Happy happy birthday my most beautiful Mally @melzpelz6666_personal. Thank you for being the best elder sister & friend to all of us. Love you the most xx.”
The backdrop of the photo featured a tasteful celebration with white and silver balloons, which effectively highlighted the festive atmosphere.

In a subsequent Instagram story, Mawra shared another full-length shot of herself and Maleeha in white, blue, and green outfits, captioning it: “Always missing the good ol’ days but also looking forward to many more years of happiness… Love you @melzpelz6666_personal.”
For her father’s birthday, Mawra also posted several throwback photos, many from her marriage festivities. She tied the knot with Ameer Gilani in February.
Urwa, the elder sibling, followed suit, wishing her father a happy birthday on Instagram.
She shared a story showing herself with their parents, along with cakes and a bouquet adorned with a birthday note.
Her message read: “Happy birthday to you, daddy! May you have many more filled with health and happiness! We all love and adore you!”
Urwa joined the celebration bandwagon after Mawra’s emotional post for their mother earlier melted hearts online a couple of months ago.

Both sisters have often spoken about their mother being their biggest inspiration and emotional anchor.
In interviews, they described her as ‘the backbone of our family,’ crediting her for nurturing their careers and instilling in them the strength to pursue their dreams.
