Senior poets entrall audience at Tehreek-e-Ahya-e-Urdu Adab mushaira

The Tehreek-e-Ahya-e-Urdu Adab successfully organised its 53rd monthly literary gathering and mushaira, where senior poets enthralled the audience with their poetry and added charm to the literary evening.

The monthly literary session was held with the title “An Evening with Poet Ehtesham Hasan Khan.”

The event was organised under the patronage of Sitara-e-Imtiaz Sajjad Ahmad.

Several prominent figures from the fields of journalism, literature, and public life attended the gathering, including senior journalist Saleem Bukhari, Huma Bukhari, Samiullah Malik, and Farogh Aftab.

The event also witnessed the participation of a good number of distinguished guests, among them Brig (r) Jaleel Ahmed Khan, Major (r) Mujeeb Aftab, Dr Rizwana Khalil, Uzra Mujeeb, Rehana Usmani, Major (rd) Sameena Butt, Col (r) Tahir Waheed, Dr Abdul Ghaffar Randhawa, Rizwan Rizvi, Wafa Tabassum, and Hasnain Akhtar.

Speakers and poets praised the initiative for providing a vibrant platform to Urdu poets and literary enthusiasts, emphasizing the importance of such gatherings in preserving and promoting Urdu literature.
