Star singer Ali Zafar has said the new song he has composed for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) is total fun.
Speaking on 24 News programme “Naseem Zehra @8”, Ali said, as per people’s wishes, he did all segments of the song himself -- writing, composing, singing and then choreography. He sung the first two lines of the song on the host’s request. Confirming to Naseem Zehra “bhai is coming for sure with his new song”, Ali said people have a lot of expectations from him and he hopes he would come up to their expectations. He said he would ask people to forgive him if they find his song lacking in any respect since he has completed it in a very short time.

Ali said that money does not matter when it is compared to the love he receives from people and the respect he has earned being a performer. He said he can make even 1,000 songs free of charge because the love he receives from people is priceless. He said he has done an experiment just to know if a video inspired by people’s love and expectations can do as well as a video made with an investment of millions of rupees.
The cricket tournament this year has been hit by many controversies and the PSL anthem is one of them. The anthem, which was a collaboration among Ali Azmat, Asim Azhar, Haroon and Arif Lohar, disappointed the fans in a drastic way at the launch ceremony. As the ceremony opened, the song became an immediate flop and the mismanagement during the performance infuriated the cricket fans even more.
Angry fans took to Twitter to vent their frustration. They said that Ali Zafar had created a much better anthem for fourth edition of the PSL last year.
In reaction, Ali Azmat told the host of a popular TV show that his ‘rivals’ (referring to Ali Zafar without naming him) had paid some bloggers to spread hatred against his new song. In response to Ali Azmat’s remarks, Ali Zafar posted a sarcastic video on the social media.
