Pakistan arrests 17 Indian fishermen, seizes three boats

Pakistan’s Maritime Security Agency has arrested 17 Indian fishermen and impounded their three boats for violating the territorial waters of Pakistan, reported 23NewsHD TV channel.

The Maritime Security Agency’s ship spotted the Indian boats in the eastern maritime zone during the routine patrol.

According to a spokesman of the Maritime Security Agency, the Indian fishermen were arrested for crossing the sea frontiers of Pakistan. “There penetration deep into Pakistani waters is a matter of concern for us,” he added.

He said the Indian fishermen have been handed over to the police for further legal action.
