Senior PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah has declared that party supremo Nawaz Sharif will decide about the new prime minister and the Punjab chief minister after the success of no-trust motion.

MNA Rana Sanaullah Saturday maintained that not only free and fair elections would be held in the country, but the vote would also be given due respect, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

During a media talk on the occasion of elections of Lahore High Court Bar Association, the PML-N lawmaker said that arrangements had already been made for the prime minister’s alleged decision to dissolve assemblies.

“In the prevailing political situation of the country, political parties do communicate with each other. However, the old tradition of ‘phone calls’ and ‘signals’ has ended,” he said.

He stated that “politics by politicians only” had always been the stance of Nawaz Sharif which seemed to be successful. “Now, Nawaz Sharif’s political stance will prevail, for politics cannot be done through telephone calls or signals.”

He also informed the media that the united opposition had placed its proposal before Nawaz Sharif. “Many people in the PTI including PM Imran himself are waiting for Nawaz Sharif’s decision,” he claimed.

“After the success of the no-confidence motion, Nawaz Sharif will decide about prime minister of the country and chief minister of Punjab,” he said and added that every institution should perform its constitutional responsibilities.
