Karachi Kings in need of wickets as Sultans bat to chase 168-run target

Karachi Kings have set a 168-run target for Multan Sultans in the 14th match of the eighth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL), reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
The match is being played in Karachi cricket stadium. The home side has posted 167-3 in the allotted 20 overs.
Opener James Vince scored 27 runs in 12 balls before being sent back to pavilion by Anwar Ali.
Matthew Wade and Tayyab Tahir stitched an impressive hundred partnership, 109 runs in 83 balls, for the second wicket.
Both, Tahir and Wade, were cleaned up by tournament’s leading wicket-taker Ihsanullah but not before scoring 65 runs in 46 balls and 46 runs in 47 balls, respectively.
Earlier, Multan Sultans won the toss and elected to bowl first against Karachi Kings.
It is to be noted here that Multan Sultans have played five matches so far and won four of them. This is their sixth match.
They had been defeated by one run in their match against Lahore Qalandars.
Karachi Kings, on the other hand, have also played five matches so far and won only one. They too are playing their sixth match.
On the points table, Multan Sultans rank first with eight points while Karachi Kings rank fifth with two points.
