Two separate incidents of lightning occurred in the Abbottabad district in which a child is killed and 10 people were injured on Sunday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the first incident occurred in the Chatt Parri area of Havelian tehsil of Abbottabad district.
In the first incident, lightning struck six people including children who were sitting in a mountain cave to take shelter from rain and thunder.
Due to the lightning, a child died on the spot while 5 people were seriously injured.
The second incident of lightning strike occurred in the village of Serian Bagh where the roof of the house collapsed after a strike of lightning.

Resultantly, a mother and her four children were buried under the debris of the collapsed roof.

As per the report, in both incidents, the locals rescued the injured and shifted them to the hospital.
