A man killed his sister in a suburban village of Kahna, Lahore on Sunday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

Safdar opened fire at his 32-year-old sister Saira in Ghunghar village. The woman received a bullet in her head and died on way to hospital. 

The body was later shifted to the mortuary.

Police said the incident appeared to be the consequence of domestic dispute. 

The police further said that hunt had been launched for the assassin. 

CCPO takes notice

Meanwhile, taking notice of the incident, CCPO Bilal Siddique Kamyana sought a report from the SP Model Town. 

The CCPO ordered the immediate arrest of the suspect.
