Pakistan Steel Mills issues termination orders of 1370 more employees
Pakistan Steel Mills has terminated more than 1370 employees without offering them any special package, reported 24NewsHDTV Channel.
Pakistan Steel Labour Union (PASLU), Karachi officials have expressed concerns over the termination of Steel Mills employees as the administration has released the lists of termination orders. Pakistan Steel Labour Union (PASLU), Karachi has urged the Steel Mills to withdraw their orders. The union has requested Industries Ministry to intervene into the matter.
The union said that despite being an important partner in the federal government, Pakistan People's Party is silent on the dismissal of employees. The criminal silence of the PPP and the Sindh government on the dismissal of employees is condemnable.
