PPP delegation calls on President Zardari at Governor House Lahore 

PPP MNAs and MPAs delegation called on President Asif Zardari at Governor House Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel. 

During the meeting President Zardari directed PPP leaders and workers to get ready for local bodies elections. He also demanded of the Punjab government not to delay local bodies elections in Punjab. Zardari said PPP will continue to fight for people's right. Where is electricity and gas available in South Punjab and where is it not? Zardari's questioned from the members. The assembly members pointed out the areas deprived of electricity and gas. 

Zardari said Bilawal and he will sit in Punjab. He also lauded the performance of Governor Salim Haider by saying that Salim Haider was doing excellent work. 

Zardari said Saleem Haider's job is to point out what is wrong. PPP lawmakers complained that Punjab bbureaucracy does not listen to them. The Deputy Commissioner of the concerned district does not listen to the Additional Secretary. The PML-N members of the Assembly do their work urgently, they are given immediate orders for every work including transfers, members' reservations. 

PPP leaders complained that budget of billions of rupees was being spent in Lahore and the rest of Punjab is being neglected. PPP leaders said one district was being promoted as in the past, the rest are feeling deprived. 

PPP leaders claimed that there was no happy situation of farmers in Punjab. ON the occasion Saleem Haider briefed President Zardari about the political and administrative situation in Punjab.
