The Chinese diplomat said Pakistan Muslim League-N whether in government or in opposition, has always been China’s best friend. “We hope Shehbaz Sharif as opposition leader will further strengthen Pak-China friendship.”
The letter also expressed good wishes for Shehbaz Sharif.
After receiving the letter, Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif said, “By God, this is the respect of Pakistan, not me,” on which the accountability court judge said, “This letter has nothing to do with the case.”
The accountability court in Lahore heard the assets beyond means and Ramzan Sugar Mill cases against PML-N leaders Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shehbaz.
Reportedly, Hamza Shehbaz was presented in Court Room No 2 in assets beyond means case while Shehbaz Sharif was presented before Judge Jawad Ul Hassan.
On the occasion, a large number of PML-N leaders were also present to show solidarity with their leaders including Rana Mashhood, Tehmina Daultana, Rana Arshad, Hanif Abbasi and Azma Bukhari.
Both father and son presented before the accountability courts amid security arrangements where routes from MAO College to Civil Secretariat Chowk were closed with containers.
