Former prime Minister and PML-N senior leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that “genuine accountability” will send three chairmen of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to the prison, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Talking to the media men in Islamabad on Tuesday, Abbasi said the institution which conducts accountability of others should also be held accountable.
Abbasi said there are hundreds of cases like Broadsheet one hidden in the NAB record. “A small part of the Broadsheet documents has been made public. Big names, including former president General (retd) Pervez Musharraf, will be disclosed if the entire details are shared,” Abbasi added.

He added, “Why are those questions not asked from others that are asked from us? Is the government not accountable? There is a question mark over the process of accountability today. Cameras should be installed in courts.”
He elaborated the kinds of questions politicians are asked should also be asked from bureaucrats, judges and generals. “The people who put Shehbaz Sharif, Khawaja Asif and Hamza Shehbaz in jails are not being held accountable,” he added.
Abbasi also said the NAB is a source to defame politicians in the country. “All cases are based on lies to portray politicians as corrupt,” he said.
