Pakistan Navy personnel have managed to fish out two more bodies of total twelve fishermen who had gone missing in the Arabian Sea off Keti Bandar coast of Thatta a few days ago, thus bringing the total number of bodies retrieved so far to five, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

The local administration has told media that search for the remaining fishermen is underway.

EC Keti Bandar Irfan Nizamani has said that the bodies are being shifted to hospital, and they will be handed over to their families after their identification and completion of some formalities.

Four days ago, on January 22, 2022, 24News had reported that as many as 12 fishermen went missing after three boats, carrying 16 people, sank into the Arabian Sea near Keti Bandar port of Thatta city.

Pakistan Maritime Security Agency teams continued their search for the 12 fishermen but strong winds were hampering their operation.
