Despite the ban, illegal recruitments were made in Sindh Local Government Department, it has been learnt.

According to 24NewsHD TV channel, a probe by the Sindh government pointed out bogus recruitments. 

A total of 133 employees has been posted to Karachi West District during 2020-2021 and 2022, the probe found adding that bank accounts were also open.

The government has declared the appointment and the account bogus.

Reportedly, all these happened at the local levels and the local government department informed the administrators of all the Union Councils of the district concerned.
