Imran Khan, Qasim Suri should’ve been punished under Article 6: Malik Ahmad

Says FIR should be registered against Farrukh Habib: Adds CEC was appointed by PTI govt itself: Deplores PTI threatens institutions, courts

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Malik Ahmad Khan said Thursday that Imran Khan and Qasim Suri should have been punished under Article 6, adding that it was a mistake not punishing them under Article 6, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

While addressing a press conference in Islamabad, the PML-N leader said that the PTI government had itself appointed the chief election commissioner (CEC), adding that Imran Khan objected to the CEC because he gave decisions against him.

Malik Ahmad said that the PTI had threatened the officials of the election commission.

“Is it democracy to threaten someone?” he questioned.

“The PTI organised a campaign against the election commission. Imran Khan also threatened the courts,” he deplored.

“The PTI starts protesting over every decision against it. We lost elections. Money was used in elections for our defeat, but we did not attack any institutions,” he stated.

“The result of Daska election was not decided by the election commission only. You have forgotten Daska election, but we will not let you forget,” he said.

“The people of the PTI also threatened the Supreme Court (SC). Imran Khan is missing Justice Munir,” he added.

“A First Information Report (FIR) should be registered against Farrukh Habib,” he asserted.

“Fawad Chaudhary should not have threatened the officials of the election commission. I did not expect Fawad Chaudhary to threaten the CEC,” he said.

“Money was used to make the son-in-law of Buzdar win election. We have got stories of many sons-in-law. We can go to the Supreme Judicial Council against these sons-in-law,” he stated.

“You threaten the institutions. You commit crimes. But you do not want to be questioned. This is not democracy. This is rascality,” he pointed out.

“You kept people in jails for three years. Talk with some reason. Pervaiz Elahi dissolved the Punjab Assembly under the duress of Imran Khan,” he castigated.

“Will the elections be held throughout the year?” he questioned.
