Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, former President and PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari, and PDM chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman held an important meeting and discussed the current political situation in the country on Thursday evening.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, 
Minister for Defense Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Minister for Economic and Political Affairs Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, and Minister for Railways and Aviation Khawaja Saad Rafiq also participated in the meeting.
The huddle took place at the PM House in Islamabad in which the political situation prevailing in the country deliberated upon.
The meeting took up issues relating to the elections in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
In the huddle, the prime minister also informed the allied parties' leadership about the International Monetary Fund (IMF) program and the country's economic situation.
Earlier, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif received former President Asif Ali Zardari and JUI head Maulana Fazlur Rehman himself at the entrance of the PM House.
