Cases to be lodged against unregistered security companies working in CPEC areas

The Punjab Home Department has decided to lodge cases against unregistered security companies operating in CPEC areas in the province, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

According to details, the home department has decided to get registered cases under section 420 against such unregistered and illegal security companies, operating without licences.

The home department decided to take action against such illegal security companies through deputy commissioners of the concerned areas.

In this regard the home department has written letters to all the deputy commissioners of the concerned districts.  

The home department noticed that not less than 20 unregistered security companies were allegedly found involved in illegal activities. About 20 unregistered security companies are functioning in CPEC areas.
