Lawyers to go on strike against court fee hike

The district bar associations and other lawyers' bodies have seconded the Punjab Bar Council’s call for a strike tomorrow

The Punjab Bar Council gave the strike call in protest against the government's decision to increase court fees.

The Punjab Bar Council threatened to go on nationwide strike if the government does not withdraw its decision within a week.

The council also announced demos against the high energy prices and inflation. The lawyers from across Punjab will not appear in court tomorrow.
