Pakistani 'doctor' sentenced to three years in jail for blackmailing woman
An Islamabad district and sessions court on Saturday sentenced a “doctor” to three years in prison for blackmailing a woman, 24NewsHD TV reported.
According to the report, Additional Sessions Judge Adnan Rasool Larrak announced the verdict against Dr. Khan, sentencing him to jail for three years and imposing on him a fine of Rs30,000.
A case was registered against Dr Khan for blackmailing a woman and making public her private pictures.
Dr Khan also used to send petitioner’s private photos to her husband with humiliating messages.
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) had registered a case against Dr Khan under the PECA Act and some other provisions of the criminal law.
Also, the court directed Dr Khan to pay Rs400,000 damages to the petitioner.
