21 injured after Punjab University bus plunges into ravine on return from Naran
Twenty-one people were injured after a bus carrying employees of Punjab University plunged into a deep ravine while returning from Naran early on Sunday morning.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the accident occurred near Damgala, where the bus lost control and fell into a steep gorge during the return journey from the popular tourist destination.
All 21 passengers on board sustained injuries in the crash. Rescue 1122 medical teams responded promptly, providing first aid at the scene before transporting the injured to nearby hospitals for further treatment.
After receiving initial medical care, the injured passengers were shifted to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Balakot and King Abdullah Teaching Hospital in Mansehra.
Officials confirmed that all those injured in the accident were employees of Punjab University. The cause of the crash has not yet been disclosed.
