Case of gang rape with maid registered at Islamabad police station
A case of alleged gang rape of a minor girl has been registered in Islamabad's Lohi Bher police station, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
According to police, the victim, a resident of Muzaffargarh, was working as a maid in Sawan Garden, where she was allegedly gang raped, resulting in her pregnancy and later giving birth to a child.
After the incident, the accused fled to Dubai.
SP City Dr Ayaz Hussain ordered immediate action after the matter came to light.
A case was registered against the accused at Lohi Bher police station.
Several accused were arrested, and an investigation started.
Red warrants were issued for the arrest of the main accused who fled abroad.
SP City arranged accommodation and food for the victim mother and her infant child.
