Islamabad Police orders faster software upgrades to improve digital services
Islamabad Police has stepped up efforts to modernise its digital infrastructure, with Director of Information Technology (IT) Atif Abbas directing the early completion of software upgrades and system improvement initiatives across police offices.
Atif Abbas chaired a meeting to review the performance of digital systems currently in use across various Islamabad Police offices.
The meeting examined the functioning of existing software applications and discussed measures to improve their efficiency, reliability and overall performance.
The Director of IT instructed the officers concerned to speed up the renewal and upgrading of software, enhance the effectiveness of information technology systems and ensure that all assigned targets were completed on time.
Addressing the meeting, Abbas said modern, reliable and efficient digital systems were vital for improving administrative performance, strengthening public service delivery and increasing the operational efficiency of Islamabad Police.
