Long-lost brother and sister reunite after decades apart

A remarkable family reunion unfolded in the United Kingdom after two colleagues who had worked together for two years discovered they were actually biological brother and sister, having been separated shortly after birth.

According to media reports, Dave Green, 60, was working as a supervisor at the bus station of Manchester Airport in 2005, while Andrea Urmston, 53, was responsible for restocking vending machines at the same location.

The pair became friends through their shared passion for motorcycles, with their friendship growing stronger over time.

Neither had any idea they were related.

The extraordinary truth came to light two years later during a casual conversation about adoption.

Dave revealed that he had been adopted as a baby, prompting Andrea to mention that her parents had also given a baby boy up for adoption shortly after his birth.

The breakthrough came when Dave disclosed that his birth name was Stewart Proudlove.

Andrea was stunned because her maiden surname before marriage was also Proudlove.

She immediately contacted her mother, Susan, to confirm the birth details of the son she had placed for adoption.

When she learned that the birth date was March 24, 1966, she realized Dave was the brother her family had been searching for over the years.

According to the report, Susan gave birth to Dave when she was just 15 years old and later placed him with a childless family for adoption.

She had spent many years trying to trace her son.

Following the emotional discovery, Andrea introduced Dave to their biological mother for the first time.

The reunion was filled with tears as mother and son embraced after decades of separation.
