Shandur Polo Festival to begin from July 1

The Shandur Polo Festival will be kicked off in Shandur Top from July 1, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority announced on Sunday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
A spokesman for the tourism authority divulged that all the arrangements for holding the festival have been finalized.
The highest polo ground in the world (3,700 metres) will host the annual polo tournament. The teams of Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral’s districts will participate in it under Freestyle Rules. Preparations have been finalised to organize Shandur Polo festival at world’s highest polo ground from July 1 to 3.
