Lahore CCPO, Commissioner review security arrangements at Nisar Haveli

Lahore Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Bilal Siddique Kamyana, accompanied by Commissioner Lahore Maryam Khan, visited Nisar Haveli on Friday to review security arrangements ahead of the traditional emergence of the Shabeeh Zuljanah, 24NewsHD TV reported.

Deputy Commissioner Lahore, DIG Operations, SSP Operations, and SP City also accompanied the visit.

The CCPO inspected security measures before the Zuljanah was brought out from Nisar Haveli and directed officials to ensure comprehensive security for all Muharram processions and majalis on Youm-e-Ashura.

Bilal Siddique Kamyana said police, the district administration, and other law enforcement agencies remain deployed in the field around the clock throughout the first ten days of Muharram to maintain peace and public safety.

The CCPO also instructed officers to maintain close coordination with religious scholars, procession organisers, and licence holders, stressing that security would remain on high alert until all Ashura processions and gatherings conclude.
