Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb said on Saturday that nobody had the courage to whisk away members of the National Assembly (MNAs) supporting opposition’s no-trust motion against the government, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Talking to 24News, she claimed that 84 PML-N MNAs were present at the NA session yesterday (Friday, March 25, 2022).

Calling Prime Minister Imran Khan a ‘coward’, Marriyum said he did not have a ‘Trump Card’. “He is merely posturing because what else does he have other than using foul language against his political opponents and threatening them,” she remarked.

PML-N spokesperson was of the view that the prime minister was fully aware that he was way behind the opposition parties in terms of numbers in the NA.

Criticising the use of religion by the prime minister in politics, she said for over three years, he kept banking on the state of Medina to gain popular support. “And now he has named PTI’s public gathering on Sunday, ‘Amar bil Maroof’. Mr Imran! Nobody is asking you about the religion. Truth of the matter is that you are going to be kicked out because of your bad governance,” Marriyum added.

“Imran Khan! For how long will you keep clinging to the power?” she asked, and claimed that by the time PML-N’s long march would reach Islamabad, Imran Khan would no longer be the country’s prime minister.

“After all, no-confidence motion will be tabled in the National Assembly on Monday (March 28, 2022), and ‘selected’ prime minister will be defeated in it,” she predicted.
