LG Elections in Sindh: PPP wins several UCs, Wards in re-polling

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Sunday won the elections held in different Union Councils’ wards in different cities of Sindh province.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the Election Commission held up the results of these UCs on January 15 due to a scuffle at the polling stations, where re-polling was held today (Sunday).
PPP’s candidate Kashif Ali Bhaiyo won the election from the polling station of UC 28 Kandhkot, Syed Ali Abbas from Ward number 5 of Town Committee Khairpur, Ahmad Abdul Qadr Gopang from UC 55 Shikarpur, Ghummoon Bhail from Ward number 3 of UC Tharparker, Muhammad Azam from UC 25 Sukkur, Dalip Kumar from Ward number 11 of Municipal Committee Umar Kot.
PPP’s candidates from Hyderabad’s UC 28’s ward number 1 and UC 35’s ward number 3 won the elections and succeeded to elect as Chairman and Vice Chairman of both UCs.
