A dacoit couple has been arrested from Korangi Industrial Area Karachi during a police operation, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

According to the police, the arrested husband used to rob the citizens with the help of his wife.

Police said that weapons and cash were recovered from the possession of both the accused.

Two dacoits shot dead in Sukkur

Meanwhile, two dacoits were killed in an alleged police encounter in Sukkur.

According to police the both dacoits were trying to escape after snatching a motorcycle and cash from a prayer leader of a local mosque when petrol police reached the spot and killed the dacoits after exchange of fire.

Later, the families of the both dacoits, killed in alleged police encounter staged a protest demonstration against the police at outside of Sukkur Press Club.

The protesters alleged that SHO concerned Iqbal Noon entered the house with police team late at night and arrested four people and out of four two people were killed declaring them robbers.
