Dolphin Force personnel foiled a dacoity bid at Lahore’s PIA Housing Society and arrested three criminals and recovered weapons from their possession, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

According to a spokesman of Dolphin Force, three dacoits held hostage a family in PIA Housing Society at gunpoint in their house’s parking place.

While observing the suspicious movement, victim family’s neighbour Ali Shan contacted 15 helpline and informed the police about the incident.

Dolphin and local police reached the site and with the help of locals surrounded the criminals.

After realizing the presence of police and locals, the dacoits released the hostages and laid down their weapons.

Police arrested three dacoits and shifted them to Sattu Katla police station. Police also recovered weapons and a car from the possession of the criminals.
