Zara Noor Abbas shares exclusive BTS moments from ‘Baazi’
Pakistani actress Zara Noor Abbas has stepped behind the camera for the first time, directing the new music video Baazi, sung and composed by her brother Ahmed Abbas Gill.
Sharing a heartfelt note about her directorial journey, Zara revealed that her strong cinematic connection with Ahmed inspired her to bring his creative vision to life on screen.
Released on March 21, 2026, coinciding with the Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations, Baazi marks Zara’s debut as a director after years in front of the camera.

The music video features a stellar ensemble including Fairy Ghouri, Muzaffar Mehmood, Aasim Sheikh, and child actor Hasnain, creating a visually compelling narrative that goes beyond a traditional performance video.

In her director’s note, Zara reflected on the process: “Everyone was looking at me for direction, but honestly, I didn’t know what needed to be shot. It was just in my head, almost like flashes coming in front of my eyes. I knew I had to do this for my brother and I did.”

She worked closely with Sameen Ahmed on styling and conceptualization, while Nabila Salon handled makeup. Cinematography was managed by Syed Salman Shah, and Jay Ali mastered the final track.
The poster for Baazi sets the tone for the video, showing Zara in a gritty, mugshot-style frame holding a chalkboard that reads “ZARA #777,” reflecting the video’s intense, cinematic storytelling.

Zara explained that the character represents someone “who had no room for errors,” signaling the high-stakes energy of the narrative.
Baazi has already begun creating buzz online, as fans applaud Zara’s successful transition from acting to directing and celebrate the sibling collaboration that brings Ahmed’s music to life in a cinematic format.
