Shikarpur incident: PM directs Sh Rasheed to visit Sindh for making strategy with Rangers

Prime Minister taking serious notice of the law and order situation in Sindh Tuesday directed Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed to visit Sindh for making strategy with Rangers to control it.

According to 24NewsHD TV Channel, PM directed Sheikh Rasheed to present him a report about the strategy after consulting the concerned authorities in Sindh.

Imran Khan Tuesday made phone calls to the Sindh Governor Imran Ismail and Federal Minister Asad Umar who was on an official visit to interior Sindh to observe the administrative as well as the law and order situation in the province.

Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry in his tweet confirmed that PM had maintained talks with the Sindh Governor and Asad Umar who showed their serious concerns over the law and order situation in the province

He further said in a tweet that both the authorities also discussed some maladministration issues with the PM in detail. The PM while taking the law and order situation serious, ordered Interior Minister to pay an urgent visit to Sindh.

Asad Umar has already said that his government is considering starting a Rangers operation in Sindh as the law and order situation is worst in interior areas.

A day ago, the Sindh police held a big operation against a bandit group in Shikarpur’s Kacha area in which several policemen were killed or injured in unaccepted retaliation from hundreds of criminals belong to the kidnapper gang.
