O and A Level exams in Pindi, Islamabad to resume from today

The British Council announced on Thursday that the Cambridge International Examinations in the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi will be held as per schedule from Friday (today), 24NewsHD TV channel reported Thursday.
The examinations will continue on May 27 and beyond, according to the British Council. Candidates should arrive at the examination center with a document issued earlier, the British Council said, adding that the candidates should check their e-mail accounts, and contact the school or the British Council, the British Council.
The council yesterday canceled all O and A levels; GCE and IGCSE exams in the twin cities in wake of the PTI protest on the 25th of May because of the uncertain situation in wake of the PTI protest. According to a press release, exams in other parts of the country would continue as per schedule.
Moreover, if there were further changes to the schedule, the British Council would inform schools and candidates in the due course.
The Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) shut all educational institutions under its ambit on 25th and the FBISE announced canceling two papers of the annual examination of matriculation.
