Mishal Malik, wife of Kashmiri Hurriyat leader Yasin Malik, said Thursday that Yasin Malik was sentenced to life in prison under a black law, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Mishal Malik said that Yasin Malik was not given a chance to defend himself.
“The time of our liberation is very near. We do not fear death. We are ready to face all the tactics of oppression head-on,” she vowed.
She said that Yasin Malik had looked into the eyes of the oppressors, and he had said: “I will not beg for life.”

She declared, “No matter how many lawsuits are filed, we are not afraid of death.”
Mishal Malik also vowed to raise the issue at international forums, adding: “We the people of Kashmir will take forward the mission of Yasin Malik.”
She also declared, “We will not beg for the life of Yasin Malik, nor will we lay down our arms.”
It is to be noted here that an Indian court on Wednesday ordered life in jail for Kashmiri leader Yasin Malik for funding ‘terrorist’ activities and other charges, prompting street protests outside the politician’s residence.
