Police have braced for the possible arrest of former Punjab chief minister Parvez Elahi, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Friday.

Police have removed media vehicles from the front of the residence of the former Punjab CM while all roads leading to his house have already been closed.

Traffic is being diverted from Zahoor Elahi Road. 

A special judge of the Lahore Anti-Corruption Court issued unbailable arrest warrants for Parvez Elahi.

The Lahore anti-corruption team reached the residence of Chaudhry Parvez Elhai with arrest warrants yesterday too.

Warrants were issued after his bail in the Gujranwala case was cancelled.
