HEC delays new policy for MPhil and PhD admissions by a year

New policy for MPhil and PhD admissions has been delayed by a year by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
The Higher Education Commission (HEC) postponed decision to make Graduate Record Examination (GRE) and Higher Education Aptitude Test (HAT) mandatory for MPhil and PhD.
According to HEC, the decision to make tests mandatory for MPhil and PhD will come into effect from Fall 2027.
Universities get more time to prepare for new admission system.
HEC has issued notification in this regard.
